India:::Part 2

Well, here I am with Part 2 from our adventures in India.  Hope you enjoy them!
I love these pictures because it was so normal for the children to come up and talk to us like this.  Check out the expression on that girls face on the second picture. :)  We were showing them a photo of our family and they were surprised at how many children we have.  Two or three children is the average amount over there.
Some of the girls that worked in the kitchen...we got to hang out with them in the evenings.  They were very sweet and it was humorous at times trying to communicate with them. :)
Yea!  Doing wash in a bathtub is so much fun! ;)
One of the things I really enjoyed was all the yummy fresh fruit!  We got all this fruit for only $3.25.
For the last two days of our stay in India, we went to Sam & Becca Gunti's house in Hyderabad.  I really really enjoyed the little time that we spent with them and their family.  Some of you may know of the mission that they started in India, called Good Life Ministries. We got to visit some of the schools and an orphanage that they started.  The one night we had the opportunity to visit some Christians that lived in a sand quarry.  The trip that left the most impression on me was when we went to visit a school they started in a stone quarry.  It was totally heartbreaking.  Most Americans have no idea of the poverty that some people live in.

Part 3 is coming soon with pictures from one of my favorite days in India!
